Activity Ideas For Bigs

A Big who is committed to spending quality time with their Little can have a lasting positive impact on their life–bolstering their self-confidence, allowing them to feel supported, and have fun. Here, we offer a selection of activities to jumpstart this journey of creating meaningful memories.

Play board games
Go bowling

Learn a magic trick
Go miniature golfing or to the driving range

Visit local farmers’ markets, parades, or festivals
Volunteer together with a local charity

Write to the President and ask for a photo (You’ll probably receive one!)
Use a map to learn about where friends and family live, where you have or would like to travel, and
where current events are occurring
Learn to count to 10 in a foreign language
Write a letter to your Congressional representative(s) regarding an issue important to both of you
Look around an antiques store and compare things of the past with things of the present

As a Big, you may receive free tickets to cultural and sports activities for both you and your Little to enjoy together.

Playful Potter

The Playful Potter in Sparks is offering free studio fees for matches that come in to paint pottery.

Discovery Museum

Littles get in free with the paid admission of their Bigs any day except Wednesday. To take advantage of the discount, Bigs need to show their ID card or otherwise identify as a Big at the time of transaction.

National Auto Museum

Littles get in free with the paid admission of their Bigs! To take advantage of the discount, Bigs need to show their ID card or otherwise identify as a Big at the time of transaction.

ATTRACTIONS

BoomTown Fun Center

Littles coming with their Big get a free ride wristband and $5 game card to enjoy the Fun Center! To take advantage of the discount, Bigs need to show their ID card or otherwise identify as a Big at the time of transaction.

RECREATION

Mesa Rim Climbing Center:

Free climbing passes available from your Match Support Specialist.

Orange Theory Fitness:

Matches can attend a free class with passes available from your Match Support Specialist. Little must be 14 years or older.

Sun Ridge Golf and Recreation:

18 for 9 hole rate for Bigs, and Littles play free with free club rentals.1 free range token and complimentary fountain drink for Littles.

UFC Gym:

Offering $15 for Littles to drop in a class (adults do not participate in children’s classes) and $30 for a match to attend a class together (only for older Littles).

Fly High Adventure Parks:

2 for one jump time with passes available from your Match Support Specialist.
